If you are here in July or August, why not visit the cellars in the evening light. You will see the vineyards at their most splendid and fall in love with them, a glass of cava in your hand and watching the sun go down.

Enjoy a challenging bicycle ride through the vineyards of Penedès accompanied by a local guide who will explain how grapes are grown, the growing cycle, phylloxera, organic growing…afterwards, visit the cellars and finish with a refreshing tasting.

A drive through Espiells’ vineyard of 1h , you will start in our area and living an adventure . Once you are done you will visit the cava and your trip will end with a wine tasting of 2 Cavas and an extra glass in our wine bar paired with a light appetizer.

After the tour, taste some calçots (a variety of onion). A dish that is typical of Catalonian gastronomy, it is served with romesco sauce and our cavas. (In season only: January to April).
Includes the visit, calçotada, and a bottle of cava per group of 5 people (to consume while eating) .

Cavas Vilarnau offers a unique learning experience for all school levels and that aims to teach about the origins, history, culture and cava values.
During the visit, the students will acquire knowledge about the cava’s crafting process.
A sensorial visit that allows one to get to know firsthand where the grape grows and the way it is used.

* Optional initiation wine tasting course, where a water with added sweet, sugar and salt tasting will take place to train the taste. And an olfactory experience to learn the smells that can be found in the wine and cava. Extra cost of 5€ per student.
